Busy, Busy, Busy!

It has been busy the last 1 1/2 weeks! Bryan has been working a day shift since the 12th and so we have actually had the evenings together! We have taken the dogs for walks and we took the kids and the dogs to a local school playground and trail. It was lot's of fun and the boys played in the playground afterward! Our parents have been watching the kids during the day and getting lot's of Grandma & Grandpa times in! They have spent the night at my parents house and Bryan's parents house on a few occasions as well!

Cameron is just getting over another ear infection! It has been a little over a month since his last one, and the poor guy got another one! So we took him back to the Dr. on Wednesday to make sure the infection is gone and discuss what the criteria is for getting tubes. She checked, and the ear infection is gone, however, he still has fluid in the left ear. Which means the infection could easily return. Since this is the 4th ear infection he has had, and the fluid isn't clearing up, we are taking the first step by having his hearing checked. If it seems that the fluid is causing hearing issues, and it doesn't clear up, we may need to consider tubes. I'm not sure how they do a hearing test on a 2 1/2 year old! That will be interesting!

Bryan is going to be Mr. President next month! Hee, hee, hee! That is, he will be President of his Union. Since he was the only one nominated, he will be the only one they can vote for next month! Congratulations honey! This means he gets to run monthly meetings and be involved in greivances, etc.... and he doesn't get any extra pay! Unless he has to do something during his time off, then it will be overtime.

On Friday, my Relay For Life team, "Bowling for a Cure to Strike out Cancer", had a fundraiser night at Burgerville! We delivered food to tables and wiped down tables for 3 hours. And we will get 10% of the proceeds from the 3 hours we were there! Easy money and we should see it in about a month! I have no idea how much we will get, but it was pretty stead business the entire evening, which was great!

I've also been catching up on my scrapbooking of the boys baby books! I'm enjoying putting them together and have missed scrapbooking!

Well, I must go now! I've been writing this while at work, and on hold with customers! I'm a multi-tasker! If I wasn't, I'd get nothing done! Hope you all have a great day!

Luv,
Jen :-)

New pictures!

Grandpa Bud & Grandma Teri sent me some pictures that I had to share with all of you! Enjoy!

Jen :-)

Bryan & his co-worker Perry! The snow and
ice was horrible on the roads and Bryan's animal
control truck doesn't have chains. So he rode
around with Perry all day!

Christmas Day! It snowed like crazy! This
is Bryan's parents (AKA-Grandma T &
Grandpa Bud).

The boys were both trying to call each other!

Touching the Christmas tree (because we aren't
supposed to)!

The boys got bikes from Grandma Teri &
Grandpa Bud! Thank you!

Bye-Bye binkis & planning for Preschool!

Saturday was the first day that I started having the boys put away their binki's during the day and it's going better than I thought it would! When they wake up in the morning, we have this little fire engine Easter basket that is the binki basket. I have them put their binki's away and they only get them for nap time and bed time! Other than a few crying fits that have lasted 2 - 20 minutes long, we haven't given in and let them have the binki's! YEAH!!!

And I made the phone call yesterday to find out when we need to register the boys for Preschool that will start in September! AAAHHH!!! It is just crazy, happy and sad to think that they will be going to preschool in 9 months! I called the preschool that I went to when I was younger, and where my mom taught at for many years. Open registration is in March and will cost full price for the first kid and 1/2 price for the 2nd one! YEAH! However, that means it will still be about $140.00 per month for 2 days a week and 2 1/2 hours per day! OUCH! I'm looking forward to them being able to be with more kids a few times a week and learning new things! I hope they do well! That also means that we need to have them potty-trained in the next few months so that they can actually go! I just can't get them to tell us WHEN they actually have to go potty! The only time they ask to go potty is when we are changing their diapers. I just need to buckle down and get all of us that deal with the kids, to push using the potty more often and wearing pull ups so it is easy to run them in to the potty.

And congratulations to my father-in-law, Charles (Bud) Caine! He just retired on December 31st from working at the mill for 34 years as an electrician! Now we have a babysitter any time we want one! Hee, hee, hee!

I'm adding a few new pics that my Dad sent me from when we had our snow (that was about 8-10 inches deep)! Enjoy!

Luv,
Jen

Musicians in the making!

Thank you very much to cousin Kelly for the best musical gifts ever! I thought it was noisy in the house before, but I ain't seen nothing yet! We had our yearly family get-together with my mom's cousin's and all of their families. The kids do a gift exchange each year and they draw names to each buy for one of the other kids! Cousin Kelly from Seattle brought Cameron a set of drums, a tamborine, some movies, and she bought them each a recorder! It was really loud in the house last night, but the boys had so much fun! Cameron caught on really quickly to hitting the bass by pressing on the foot peddle and he kept hitting the other drums like a pro! Daniel did well too and they both had fun! Thank you Kelly! Oh, and like I said last night.....pay backs when you have kids! :-)

Luv,
Jen (with earplugs in)
